Howden Broking Group, part of international insurance and reinsurance distribution group Hyperion, is pleased to announce that industry specialist Mark Cooper has joined its global wholesale practice as Director of Structured Credit and Political Risks.

Cooper joins Howden having set up and run Asia-focused TFC Brokerage, based in Hong Kong. He has 15 years’ experience in the Asian market in locations across the region - notably creating and building Alexander Forbes’ Asia Pacific Trade Credit and Political Risks Division based in Singapore - and over 25 years’ experience in the credit industry. He has also worked as Asia Regional Underwriting Manager for AIG, and brings with him a breadth and depth of knowledge of the industry which spans a number of sectors.
